For entries in duo, trio, small groups do not average the age. Dancers must compete in the category of the oldest dancer. (Example: Small Group comprising of 4 dancers one is 6 years old, one 7 years old, one 14 years old and the final one is 16 years old, the small group will compete in the 16 & Under category.

Large Groups, Lines, Extended Lines, and Production please average age to determine age category. (Example: 14.5 rounds up to 16 & Under category.)

Add the ages of all the dancers in a routine and divide by the number of dancers in that routine to determine average age. Average ages ending in .5 or greater will round up to the next whole number.

All dancers appearing on stage, whether dancing or not, must be included when determining the average age for an entry.
